The Lord's True Church ( Part 4)

The Lord's True Church is set apart from churches that are not His church, by what they teach and by what they practice. It all has to be done by what the Lord tells us to do. Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:4; that we shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God. Notice the word every. 

The word of God is the scriptures as it tells us in II Timothy 3:14-17.
It came from God and not man. II Peter 1:19-21.

Jesus told His church to teach all the things that He commanded them to do.
Matthew 28:18-20. Once we see the truth we than, just need to be willing and do what the word of God tells us. Only the doers of the word will be blessed. James 1:22-27; James 2:12; John 13:17.

It is only by the word of God that we will know the truth, and also know who His church really is. Also how we are to live our lives in a way that will be pleasing to God. Simply believing that God is who He says He is and that His word is true.

Here are some verses to help us understand.:
  Hebrew 11:6. You cannot please Him without faith.
  John 1:1-14 In the word was in the beginning.
  John 5:24 Those that hear the word and believe will have everlasting life.
  Deuteronomy 32:1-4 God is righteous.

 He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. Hebrew 11:6
 James 1:17,18 He is the giver of every good thing.

It tells us in James 1:25; those that see in the word of God what He expects from them and does those things will be blessed of God.

We can never outgive the Lord.
The Bible tells us that there will be rewards for doing God's will.
Paul said in II Timothy 4:7,8; Matthew 16:24-27; I Corinthians 3:8-14;
Revelations 22:12. We need to keep God's word and let it be our guide. Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14. The truth has to be from the word of God and not from man. John 7:16,17;
John 14:6 We learn from God's word that Jesus started His Church and not man.
Hebrews 8:1,2. In Matthew 16:18, 19; therefore any church that had it's origin by man is not the Lord's church.
